Tuuliki Jürjo (born on October 15, 1966, in Tartu) is a church musician and composer who has been active as a church musician in various congregations of the Estonian Evangelical Lutheran Church for over 30 years. For 16 years, she has been a member of the board of the Estonian Evangelical Lutheran Church Music Association, and since 2011, she has been its chairperson.
Tuuliki graduated in 1989 from the Tallinn State Conservatory with a degree in music pedagogy. In 2001, she completed her studies in organ at the Heino Eller Tartu Music School under the guidance of Urmas Taniloo. In 2010, she pursued her master's degree in organ at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre in the class of Andres Uibo.
As an organist, she has worked in the congregations of Tartu Maarja and Narva Aleksandri. Since 2015, she has been the organist of the Viljandi Jaani and Pauluse churches, and since 2018, she has also been the organist of the Paistu church. Tuuliki has performed as an organist all over Estonia and in foreign countries such as Finland, Russia, Lithuania, Germany, and France. Her organ students have won awards at several prestigious organ competitions in Estonia and abroad.
Tuuliki has conducted the Tartu Maarja congregation's chamber choir "Soli Deo Gloria," the ensemble "Alfa & Omega" in the Narva congregation, and the ensemble "Cantatores Narvensis." Since 2015, she has been leading the women's ensemble "Iris" and the ensemble "In Unison" in the Viljandi Jaani congregation. Tuuliki has served as the overall conductor for the spiritual song festivals in Suure-Jaani in 2012, 2014, and 2017, as well as the spiritual song festival in Tartu in 2015.
Since 2002, Tuuliki has been organizing concerts, song festivals, festivals, and concert series as a producer, including events like the "Viljandi Organ Festival," "Mu süda, ärka üles," and others.
Her musical composition includes a rich variety of songs for different choir types, cantatas, organ pieces, and large-scale compositions. She has published several music scores and CDs featuring her own compositions. Her works have received awards in the organ chorale prelude competition in 2013, the spiritual choral music competition in 2019, and the choral composition competition in 2021.
Tuuliki has been awarded the A category for organist-choir conductor and the EELK Order of Merit, III Class.
